Marie Marsilio opened The Cutting Edge with a dream, a pair of shears, and a lot of determination. Two decades and countless transformations later, we are still right here in Commack, NY, and in 2026 we reopened our doors with a full salon renovation built, wall by wall, by Marie's husband Mike.

We are an education-driven, family-first salon. Ouidad Certified, Babe Certified, proudly a Moroccanoil salon. Some of our guests have been with us for twenty years, and we never take that loyalty for granted.
